The main feature of this hiking trail are the marvellous views and the iron ladders on the steep walls of rock overlooking lake Garda: they counts more than 400 steps, so be ready to climb!<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the path you can walk back taking the forest road or continue on the road to the bus stop on the main road to go back by bus.<\/p>\n<p>In any case, the hiker is advised to check the conditions of the places, environment and weather before setting out.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><div class=\"toggle-links align_none\"><button class=\"collapsible-content-more\">Show More<\/button><button class=\"collapsible-content-less\">Show Less<\/button><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section\" id=\"fd71\"><button class=\"w-tabs-section-header\" aria-controls=\"content-fd71\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-title\">Directions<\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section-control\"><\/div><\/button><div  class=\"w-tabs-section-content\" id=\"content-fd71\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-content-h i-cf\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column with_collapsible_content\" data-content-height=\"200px\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p><strong>Starting point<\/strong><br \/>\nBusatte Park &#8211; Torbole sul Garda<\/p>\n<p>From Park Busatte\u2019s grassy area you head off for a spectacular hike along the Busatte\u2013Tempesta trail, a\u00a0 nature route overhanging the lake which winds for 4 km and includes flights of metal stairs with a total of\u00a0\u00a0<strong>400 steps<\/strong>.\u00a0 The route is mostly even with two climbs: Corno di B\u00f2 and Salt de la Cavra. This 90 minute hike through\u00a0 wonderful scenery, right above the lake in the midst of nature, flowers and geological phenomena, leads\u00a0 you to Tempesta.<\/p>\n<p>From here you\u00a0walk back to Torbole: at the junction with the road leading down to Tempesta, just go up the road till you reach againg the Busatte &#8211; Tempesta path near the first stairs or you can descend to Tempesta and the main road and go back to Torbole\u00a0by bus of the A.P.T.V. line.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"toggle-links align_none\"><button class=\"collapsible-content-more\">Show More<\/button><button class=\"collapsible-content-less\">Show Less<\/button><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section\" id=\"r115\"><button class=\"w-tabs-section-header\" aria-controls=\"content-r115\" aria-expanded=\"false\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-title\">Equipment<\/div><div class=\"w-tabs-section-control\"><\/div><\/button><div  class=\"w-tabs-section-content\" id=\"content-r115\"><div class=\"w-tabs-section-content-h i-cf\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column with_collapsible_content\" data-content-height=\"200px\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p>You need to be wearing the\u00a0<strong>right clothing<\/strong>\u00a0and take the\u00a0<strong>proper gear<\/strong>\u00a0when you go hiking in the mountains. Even on relatively short easy outings make sure to take all you need so you don&#8217;t run into trouble if things take an unexpected turn, for example a storm blows up or you have a sudden drop in energy levels.<\/p>\n<p>What should you take when you go on a hike?<\/p>\n<p>What you should have in your rucksack (for a day trip a 25\/30L capacity should do):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>water canteen (1L)<\/li>\n<li>snacks (e.g. mixed dried fruit or chocolate)<\/li>\n<li>First aid kit<\/li>\n<li>windproof jacket<\/li>\n<li>fleece<\/li>\n<li>change of t-shirt and socks (in a plastic bag)<\/li>\n<li>make sure to wear or at least bring a pair of long trousers<\/li>\n<li>hat<\/li>\n<li>sun screen<\/li>\n<li>sunglasses<\/li>\n<li>gloves<\/li>\n<li>whistle to attract attention in an emergency<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>emergency telephone number Mountain Rescue\u00a0<strong>112<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Make sure you&#8217;re wearing the\u00a0<strong>right footwear<\/strong>\u00a0for the trail and season.
